Should The U.K give its aircraft carrier to Ireland?

I heard that the MOD is basically giving away one of its aircraft carriers, should they give it and some harriers (news says the uk has loads of new unused ones for scrap) to the Irish Military...Good for relations and better give a prestigious ship to a close ally imo
