Situation: your best friend who has no kids gives you the impression that she is NOT interested in discussing your baby AT ALL. Though you don't feel you overdo it, sometimes you naturally want to share a cute or funny story about what your baby did or whatever, but your friend will either change the subject or just completely IGNORE what you just said. So my question is, do you just STOP all-together unless she asks about the baby ? What would YOU do ? Shin splints - is it possible to be tender but not have them?

I've dealt with shin splints in the past too. A good way to ease the pain and help the healing process is to freeze a dixie cup of water and use the open end to massage your shins with. You can also strengthen your shin muscles by laying on your back and hold your leg up so your upper leg is vertical and your lower leg is horizontal then "write" the alphabet with your big toe and do that for both legs. Your heel/toe walks are good and you can also try to stand on the edge of the steps and just lift yourself with your toes and do 10-15 nice a slowly. These are all targeted for your shins specifically so you don't want to overdo these exercises while starting, rather gradually build up over a month or so. Strengthening other parts of your legs may also help relieve stress on your shins and prevent shin splint. At this point, you probably don't have shin splints and your legs are sore from running so don't worry too much. Just be aware of your body and try out these tips. Should your shins feel extra sore one day, take some ibuprofen to lessen the swelling (even if you don't need it for the pain it will help your muscles to heal faster and let you get back to running).

PS3 is a great system too but more of an entertainment system. Bluerays are great. However when it comes to buying third party games which can be sold on both consoles more people by Xbox 360 games because they are known to have better online experience and yes better frame rate and graphics. Okay so a little background information: My friend went out with a girl for like 3 months or so. During this time I became very close with who he was going out, and we became good friends. I became her outlet for relationship problems, and I was kind of "in the relationship" it seemed because at one time I was on Facebook and BOTH of them were coming to me about what they should do. I kind of freaked out and let them know that I didn't direct their relationship. I shouldn't of freaked out, but it was just getting ridiculous! When she actually broke up with him I was at a water park and I left my phone in the room. When I got back I had a text from him, a text from another one of my friends, and a missed call from her. I excused myself to go in the hall so I could call her back. When she picked up it seemed like she was almost in tears, she had explained that her friends had pressured her into doing it. I comforted her, all the while I was confused. In the weeks that followed she relapsed and realized that she still loved him, and talked with him to explain that she just wanted a break. However, he moved on, while she still got teary eyed thinking about him. Throughout their relationship on my part I started realizing that I had feelings for her, do to the fact that we talked a ton and had a ton in common. She didn't feel the same, but she did say that my conversations with her were a lot more exciting than her conversations with my friend. Recently near the end of school we went on a grade wide trip to a water park. Both of her friends had guys they were hanging out with and she felt like she was a third wheel. That was the first half of her day, my first half was hanging out with my friends nonstop. However me and my friends moved to the indoor part where she was with her friends. It turns out my friends ditched me, her friends ditched her, and one of my friends was also there. So we formed a three person group and we hung out a lot for the next 2 hours. She constantly talked with me about wanting to have a boyfriend and how lonely she was. I play chess and condition my brain/body to maximize performance. It seems if I overdo the playing or the exercise, my overall processing speed temporally decreases, along with short term memory, but not always at the same time. I assume I need to stilt me activity so I can adequately recover, but if I do not, it seems the short term memory inefficiency may stay constant for longer periods. Doing very poorly in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer?

I used to get KDRs of around 10:1 and 20:1, double pavelows here, constant double harriers there, now all of the sudden I can barely manage a 1:1 KDR. I don't understand, my last KDR was 35 kills, 4 assists, and 6 deaths, and that's the best I've had in probably a month! It's really bringing me down, not to mention it causes me to notice bothersome players (tac knife spammers, tubers, glockers, etc) and eventually become a very bothersome whiner. It really brings my mood down. I feel like my assault rifle only does about 10 damage per shot rather than its supposed 30 damage, and have to resort to secondary up-close weapons such as the M1014 to get a barely decent KDR. Does anybody know why this might be, or how I can fix it? I use the same weapons I used to be great with, but I can hardly even aim with them. I feel like everyone has twice or three times the damage my weapons have. It's really bothersome, and I could really use some advice.

Knee pain when bending & kneeling?

I have a 4 month old baby & about a month or so ago I started easing back into exercising. I started off slow & now I'm doing about 45 mins. 5-6 days a week. I was in good shape before but did gain 40 lbs. (I have about 10 left now). Anyways, I'm doing 15 mins of running on the treadmill & 10 mins. of incline walking followed by 20 mins. of weights & band exercises about 2-3x a week & the other days I do cardio & strength training videos. I've noticed lately that my knees have been hurting only when I bend or kneel. It almost feels like they're stiff. So I'm not if it's from the running cause my body isn't used to it & maybe the extra weight doesn't help or if it's even from all the kneeling I'm doing changing my son's diapers? Afterwards he came up and acted so superior and told me basically what a great dad he was. After he left, I cried till my eyes hurt, cause I can't feel good about myself with him. I don't want to run away cause that wouldn't fix anything, and its not like he's abusive or anything, but I don't want to come after school anymore. I know this doesn't seem like a big problem but its making me feel worthless and unhappy. Any advice?

Hi, I'm lvl 70 and the closest I've gotten to the nuke is 23 killstreak. My problem is to get the harriers. I don't need weapon or perk advices. Well make sure the concealer really blends in and matches your skin tone or it will look really weird. Also I find it a bit much to put on blush if you don't use powder or foundation. The tinted moisturizer will wipe off very easily so you don't really need much color. If anything use a powdered blush that isn't a light pink color and just dab it on. Also yes I think eyeliner on the bottom is overdoing it. A very thin line on the top is okay but the bottom is a bit much. I never line my bottom line ever and I'm 21. Personally I think it just looks too harsh and fake on people.

white spots have cleared on my black finned oranda.... however he is now hiding a lot. he is only a lil baby... 2 inches... minus the tail. dont want him to die! i looked closely a him and his tail has white chalk like markings there where as when i got him he was all black... is this from the white spots or is this fin rot setting in? if i change water he gets more active for a bit (1/2hr) then goes behind the plants :( dont want to take the plants out if that makes him feel safer. i have been told by Maidenhead Aquatics not to feed him for 24hrs and see if he gets better. and to keep using the spot cream for another week. o and they checked my water levels and said all was good... but to do 20% water changes every other day until he gets fully recovered. they didnt recommend salt as i said i was wary of killing them by overdoing it. One by one mascara, natureluxe foundation, and wet and wild eyeliner. I suggest putting a dot of foundation on your forehead, chin, both cheekbones, and nose. Blend that around your face so its all even. For eyeliner, I like waterline but its really optional for a 15 year old. And mascara, don't wear too much or else you will get clumpy, but a bit of mascara will be very flirty and cute. I like white eye shadow (i don't know a good brand, my brand name wore off ha ha) it really opens up your eyes if you put it solely on your lids. Britain has always had armed forces to be proud of! One thing our forces lack is sheer quanity and to make up for that we have some of the most highly trained and professional armed forces in the world such as the Royal Marines and the best special forces, including the SAS. Our Navy is very skilled tactically as is the RAF. When it comes to the skys we had a major advantage, the harrier jump jet, the sea is our trident submarines, destroyers and air craft carriers and on land is the (second to none) discipline of our troops. But now David Cameron comes along, cuts spending and in doing so reduces our forces far to much. Not renewing fighter jets and ships, lack of equipment for our troops, destroying communities by shutting down important RAF bases. I personally think its a disgrace! The forces should be the last area that sees cuts, if anything there should be more money ploughed in to them.

What is a reasonable weight gain for 4 months?

Ok I need to bulk up some for basketball. Im 5 foot 10 inches 138 pounds. I would like to know how much would be a healthy but large weight gain ( bout 10 pounds of fat also) in 4 months. Go with your plan BUT, you're gonna have to do more than eating eggs. Lift weight for the upper body, and do pushups and author daily, no whining or moaning. ALSO, do not get discouraged if you don't see any difference in your body within the first couple weeks. It will take more than 2 months for a substantial difference to show, so the sooner you start the better! I suggest making an alarm that gies off every day to remind you to do all these things. Hey! So I'm going on a trip pretty soon to London and Paris, it's going to be hopefully amazing, I'm planning on traveling in my style which is always to stay at nice hotels and be pampered and have really luxurious amenities and eat at the absolute coolest and best places and really live it up as much as I can, I mean hey, you only have one life to live, and I've always traveled this way, always, I've never really ever done any of the backpacking thing, and honestly the idea repulses me a little, I want to take everything in and be comfortable and feel like I'm at peace, and yet a little part of me wonder's, how is it like to backpack though? Like through europe, i mean for the price of a holiday in luxury places you could backpack through all of Europe, yet wouldn't it be uncomfortable? I swear, I don't leave it signed in. i would say use hardline. because like you i get screwed right before i get my gunner or emergency airdrop. i say use the m16 because the ACR's damage is garbage compared to the m16. so if you want to own with the acr you pretty much need stopping power. so go with the ACR and use stopping power or go with the m16 and use hardline.

It really surprises me to buy or borrow a new book to read FILLED with cliches and stereotypes.
